VIEWING PARTY ESSENTIALS
CREATE A DIY COCKTAIL STATION
Designate a corner of the room for sparkling cocktails galore. Set a table with chilled bottles of Saratoga, champagne, coupes, mixers, a silver ice bucket, and garnishes. Let guests top up and sip all night. No fuss, all fun.
DIM THE LIGHTS
Create a warm atmosphere by lowering the lights and lighting candles. Draw attention to the Globes while assuring you and your guests look their best.
USE THE REAL THING
I opt for linen cocktail napkins. They make every occasion feel special, and can easily be washed and reused for your next celebration.
GET INVOLVED
Print out nomination ballots for a dose of healthy competition. Have your guests fill out their picks before the awards start. That way, everyone is extra invested during the show. The winner gets an extra slice of cake or scoop of mousse.
PARTY FAVORS
Place individually wrapped Amaretto cookies on a platter for guests to grab on their way out. Low lift, big impact, and you’ll leave everyone with a sweet taste in their mouth.
